The Rolling Stones wrapped the U.S. leg of its 50 and Counting tour Monday in Washington D.C., concluding without any special guests this time, although Lenny Kravitz was in the house and went backstage for a visit with guitarist Ron Wood.

It was a very different scene than the group’s first performance in the nation’s capital 48 years ago.

“Washington has a lot of memories for me,†Mick Jagger told the audience early in the set. “We first came here in 1965. Lady Bird Johnson was the first lady, she always came to our shows.â€

As on most of the stops on the tour that opened May 3 in Los Angeles, former Stones guitarist Mick Taylor joined with Jagger, Wood, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Darryl Jones on “Midnight Rambler.†On Monday night, he also came onstage for “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking†and returned during the encore to add his licks to “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,†which ended the night.

The 22-song set, as usual for this tour, reached back to the early days to start with “Get Off My Cloud,†and also incorporated a second fan-generated request, “Street Fighting Man.†Richards stepped to the mike for a pair of lead vocals on “You Got the Silver†and “Before They Make Me Run.†Here’s the full setlist.
