Kanye West issues completed ‘Black Skinhead’ video
Kanye West’s official video for “Black Skinhead†is finally out.
West posted a link to the completed video for the single (stylized as “BLKKK SKKKN HEADâ€) on his website Monday morning.
A rough cut of the clip, the first visual from his polarizing album “Yeezus,†leaked online earlier this month, igniting a furor of tweets from the rapper.
“Me and Nick Knight have been working on this video for 5 months and for creatives it’s heartbreaking when something like this happens,†he fired off. “Allow me and Nick to give the world what we’ve been losing sleep over.â€

In the black-and-white clip, a CGI-version of a very buff and shirtless West dances and raps in the dark using some coarse language as well as haunting images, including some rather ferocious Dobermans and Ku Klux Klan-inspired visuals.
The final version looks identical to the rough draft, albeit more polished and less like a hacked version of “The Sims,†and it’s safer for work seeing as how the full frontal rendering of West was left out.
West’s video is also interactive, allowing viewers to control the playback speed and take and share screenshots of the video with the help of a cursor that just so happens to be flipping the bird.
