Jamie-Lynn Sigler engaged to ballplayer Cutter Dykstra
Actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler and baseball player Cutter Dykstra are engaged!
“So this just happened....,†the 31-year-old tweeted Monday, along with a couple of hearts and a shocked-looking photo of herself flashing a blingy new rock, with Dykstra at her side.
“She said yes!!,†Dykstra, 23, added when he retweeted the news.
“Thank you so much for all the love everyone,†Sigler followed up. “I am so happy and more importantly lucky!â€
“The Sopranos,†“Entourage†and “Guys With Kids†actress’ rep confirmed the news to Us Weekly on Monday, with a source telling the mag, “They both know that this is it for both of them. They are both on cloud nine as are their families and friends.â€
The two, who have been dating for about a year, went public with their relationship last March, according to the New York Post.
Dykstra, a minor-league infielder, is the son of Lenny Dykstra, who played for the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies and recently ran into trouble with the law.
It’ll be a second wedding for Sigler, who was married for a couple of years to A.J. DiScala. They separated in 2005 and later divorced, and she has since been linked to “Entourage†costar Jerry Ferrara as well as New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.
