Snooki’s wedding will have to wait: ‘I just want my baby first’

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is mixing up the old love-marriage-baby carriage timeline, the reality star said Thursday, with pal Jenni “J-Woww” Farley vouching for the fact that her costar is currently in “pregnancy mode.”

“I do have a dream wedding,” Snooki told reporters at the MTV Upfronts in New York, “but I definitely don’t even want to talk about it or think about it because I’m not even ready for it yet. I just want my baby first.” So baby daddy and fiancé Jionni LaValle still has some breathing room before heading down the possibly leopard-printed aisle.

The one-thing-at-a-time approach isn’t too surprising, coming from someone who has admitted the pregnancy concept is a new one to her. “Honestly, I really didn’t know that I could make a baby,” Snooki says in a preview for the upcoming “Snooki & J-Woww,” “so the fact that I can reproduce is very scary.”

Hey, she said it, not us.

Also scary to Snooki: How big Jessica Simpson has gotten while pregnant. “I would die if I were her size,” the pint-size reality star said, according to US Weekly.

“[Simpson’s] like 45 months pregnant right now!,” chimed in “Jersey Shore” cast mate Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio.

Ouch.

One way the wee one would imitate Simpson, however, is in the fashion-branding arena. “I definitely want to do like diaper bags and stuff like that,” Polizzi told the New York Times recently. By which she means she wants to design Snooki-centric items for her baby on board, “and then sell it for everybody else.”

For the baby’s sake, the famously orange-skinned Snooki has knocked off spray-tanning along with drinking. And fear not: Despite some encouragement Farley offered about her baby-care options -- “Just like ‘Toddlers & Tiaras!,” J-Woww said. “They spray-tan those babies!” – the mom-to-be assured reporters that she wouldn’t be tanning her tot any time soon.
