Nicky Hilton, James Rothschild marry in style at Kensington Palace’s Orangery

When names like Hilton and Rothschild are involved, a wedding venue involving Kensington Palace isn’t out of the question: Nicky Hilton and James Rothschild got married at the Orangery on the palace’s grounds Friday.

That’d be the same Kensington Palace where William and Catherine, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, hang their often-fabulous hats.

“So happy that my sister found the man of her dreams,†big sis and maid of honor Paris Hilton said before the big event, posting a picture on Instagram showing the now-newlywed heir and heiress kissing. “They make the perfect couple! So excited for their wedding today! #MrsRothschildâ€

The bride cut a glamorous image in London as she stepped out of Claridge’s Hotel in a long-sleeved, high-necked Valentino gown fit for a princess. The couture dress featured three shades of ivory and silver guipure lace with crystal embellishments, WWD reported, and a nearly 10-foot train. Vintage lace trimmed the veil, which almost got run over by a Bentley.

It seems to have had a price tag fit for royalty as well: Unconfirmed reports tagged the dress’ cost at anywhere from $77,000 all the way up to $100,000.

Paris Hilton might not wear her maid-of-honor gown again — who does, really? — but it was a pretty one, made of powder-blue chiffon that went well with Kathy Hilton’s floor-length mother-of-the-bride look.

Nicky was on father Richard Hilton’s arm as she made her way to that pesky black Bentley, which would take her to the affair.

Regarding the location, the Orangery was built in the style of a palace itself by Queen Anne in 1704 and is surrounded by formal gardens. It is now used as a cafe.

The fashion designer, 31, and the venture-capital VP, 30, have been dating since they met at a wedding: Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt’s 2011 nuptials in Rome. And yes, like the Rothschilds and Hiltons, the Ecclestone and Stunt families are worth billions as well.

Rothschild proposed to Hilton last August on a boat in Italy’s Lake Como, Us Weekly reported.

The newest Mrs. Rothschild got married once before, in August 2004, to businessman Todd Meister. Less than three weeks after the two said “I do,†the made-in-Vegas marriage was annulled.
