Michael J. Fox would never ever like Taylor Swift to date his son
Michael J. Fox would rather Taylor Swift stay the heck away from his 23-year-old son Sam — and really, can you blame him?
Tina Fey, at the Golden Globes on Sunday, had hilariously warned audience member Swift to “stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son†as the younger Fox, along with Francesca Eastwood, helped out on the awards show. And Dad was happy to reinforce that notion at a Wednesday book party in New York.
“No. No ... Just back off,†he told Vulture after the idea of a Sam-and-Taylor love connection was proposed. “I don’t keep up with it all. But Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right?â€
Not exactly a primo parting gift, we think.
“What a way to build a career,†said Fox, who’s been married to actress Tracy Pollan since 1988.
[Updated, 5:01 p.m. Jan. 18: Looks as if things have ended well between “The Good Wife†guest star and the “Red†singer. “Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good,†she tweeted Friday afternoon. “Thank you for having my back.â€]

Swift, 23 and most recently linked with — and unlinked from — 18-year-old Harry Styles of One Direction, previously dated 18-year-old Conor Kennedy.
In other Swift-related trash talk, the young lady’s tune “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together†was “covered†by Samuel L. Jackson on a British radio show earlier this week. Check it out below. Somehow, we believe it more when Jackson says it.
