Kylie Jenner has three-car accident soon after getting license
Kylie Jenner was in a car accident Wednesday just weeks after obtaining her driver license, according to reports.
Jenner, daughter of Kardashian momager Kris Jenner and Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner, is the youngest of the Kardashian family step-siblings. The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians†star turned 16 on Aug. 10 and promptly got herself licensed two days later, when half-sister Kourtney Kardashian posted a pic of her behind the wheel.
“Look out world! @kyliejenner is a licensed driver!†Kardashian wrote.
Watch out, indeed.
The crash took place about 5 p.m. Wednesday on a residential street in Jenner’s hometown of Calabasas. The young starlet’s accident involved two other vehicles, according to TMZ. Her brand new $125,000 Mercedes G-wagon allegedly rear-ended the back of a Toyota, which subsequently hit the Subaru SUV in front of it.
The Toyota was severley damaged and its back bumper was lodged in the grille of Jenner’s car, as seen in photos obtained by the website. However, no one was seriously injured.
Jenner reportedly got out of her car, apologized, asked if everyone was OK and then exchanged information with the drivers. When the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department arrived, Jenner had already left.
E! News confirmed that there had been an accident at that time and place, but said there were no injuries nor anything illegal or unusual.
Jenner’s car is said to have been taken to a body shop for repairs.
The aspiring model/fashion designer took to Twitter on Thursday to talk about her feelings, though she did not specifically address the accident.
“What do I have to do to not get bothered by something for one day,†she wrote, adding, “I still shed a tear every once in a while.â€
And so might the mechanic who tended to that damaged custom G-wagon.
