Jodie Foster, your ‘daughter’ Kristen Stewart is talking all sexy
Kristen Stewart has come a long way since her “Panic Room†days. Just ask her former costar Jodie Foster, a newcomer to last weekend’s Comic-Con International in San Diego.
“[Kristen] really should’ve given me some tips†on dealing with screaming fans, the actress told “Access Hollywood.†Foster was there to promote her own flick, “Elysium,†costarring Matt Damon.
Foster said Stewart was “absolutely brilliant†in “Snow White and the Huntsman†and was happy to reflect on her former costar, who was only 12 years old when she played Foster’s daughter in the 2001 thriller.
“I’m proud of her,†Foster said. “I feel like she’s my daughter too!â€
If Foster sees her that way, maybe she’d better check in on what her “daughter†is up to. We take it she must have missed Stewart’s comments at the Thursday’s Comic-Con panel for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2.â€
“Twilight†fans know that being turned into a vampire heightens a person’s senses. But for Stewart, who plays newly turned vampire Bella Swan-Cullen, becoming supernatural heightens the libido too.
The actress was disappointed that she and real-life beau Robert Pattinson couldn’t get as raunchy as she’d imagined during their highly anticipated vampire sex scene in the final installment of the franchise.
Stewart wanted their characters to behave like “animals,†she said at the panel. But they were asked to scale back the smut to keep the film appropriate for the young’uns.
“The ratings, man! [It’s] a tricky thing ... because we’re supposed to have mind-boggling, otherworldly ... sex,†Stewart said. “In the first one, ‘Breaking Dawn 1,’ we really ... this is weird ... tried to keep the first one sweet. It’s about self-discovery. Nothing about this series is raunchy. And I know that. ... But in the second one, we just wanted to be animals.â€
Hear that, Jodie?
The film’s director, Bill Condon, (via video message) treated “Twi-hards†at the Hall H panel to the film’s seven-minute opening in which viewers meet a vamped-up Bella for the first time.
Fans will have to wait until Nov. 16 to see the whole film, in all its less-than-animalistic-glory. In the meantime, watch the latest trailer here.
