Khloe Kardashian files for divorce from Lamar Odom
Khloe Kardashian has reportedly filed for divorce from Lamar Odom, her husband of a little more than four years.
The papers were filed Friday afternoon and cited the usual “irreconcilable differences,†according to TMZ, which first reported the news. Khloe’s asking that the “Odom†be removed from her legal name, seeking no spousal support and requesting that he seek none from her, said the website, which also noted that there was a hard-core prenup in place, making the divorce a relatively simple thing.
Simple compared to, say, the drama that surrounded sister Kim’s divorce from Kris Humphries after only 72 days of marriage. That split took more than a year and a half to finalize.

News that the divorce was coming started buzzing Friday morning. Kardashian and Odom have been living apart with their relationship on the rocks for months now, while the basketball player allegedly struggled with a drug problem.
“She flip-flopped several times, but she can’t imagine having kids with someone who refuses to seek help for his disease,†a source close to the star told Us Weekly. The couple, incidentally, have had infertility issues too.
Odom and the youngest Kardashian sister married in September 2009 after a whirlwind one-month courtship. They have not been seen in public since Oct. 9, according to E! News.

Despite rumors of drug use and infidelity, Kardashian had continued to wear her wedding ring until a month ago, when TMZ posted a hard-to watch video in which Odom brags about cheating on Khloe when she’s not around.
Thursday morning, Kardashian posted an Instagram message that read, “I am strong because I’ve been weak. I am fearless because I’ve been afraid. I am wise because I’ve been foolish,†perhaps hinting at what was to come.
