Justin Timberlake says that Jimmy Fallon heckled him during his wedding speech.

The “Suit & Tie†crooner, who married actress Jessica Biel in October 2012, put the late-night host on blast in his essay about Fallon for Time’s 100 most influential people.

“Picture this: I’m in the heart of an impromptu speech at my wedding reception in front of 150 guests, pouring it out to my lovely new bride,†Timberlake wrote. “You could hear a pin drop. I paused for just a moment in between thoughts. And then there was Jimmy, shouting a joke from his seat, sparking an improv between the two of us that went on for a good five or 10 minutes and had all our guests roaring with laughter.â€

But that’s just Jimmy, Timberlake said.

“Interrupting the groom’s speech at the wedding reception? Cracking jokes when your buddy is looking desperately for the words to say that he hopes his wife will remember forever? It turned into a moment that everyone there will remember forever. Anyone else would have bombed on that stage. And then I would have kicked their ass.â€

The wedding took place in southern Italy and included Fallon’s “SNL†costar and Timberlake collaborator Andy Samberg, Biel’s “7th Heaven†costar Beverley Mitchell, musician ?uestlove and music manager Johnny Wright.

Timberlake, 32, and Fallon, 38, have made headlines with their “History of Rap†musical collaborations, and Timberlake staged a musical takeover of Fallon’s show -- “Timberweek†-- during the week of March 11. The stunt led up to the release of Timberlake’s studio album “The 20/20 Experience,†and the duo capped off the five-night residency with the highly anticipated performance of “History of Rap 4.â€

Now Fallon is gearing up to replace “Tonight Show†host Jay Leno in 2014.

“He’s a brilliant comedian. A talented musician. A spot-on impersonator,†Timberlake added. “Jimmy has redefined and recharged late-night television with a genuine excitement and energy that gets under your skin.â€

Timberlake, who has become a triple threat, was honored by the magazine as well, but his essay wasn’t written by Fallon. It was written by music legend Stevie Wonder.
