Justin Bieber’s flying circus: Pot smoking, high-altitude attitude

Call it Justin Bieber’s flying circus: The pop star and his entourage reportedly filled their U.S.-bound private plane with so much pot smoke last Friday that the pilots had to wear oxygen masks to avoid a contact high.

There was also a great deal of high-altitude attitude thrown toward a flight attendant by the Biebs and his father, Jeremy Bieber, according to NBC News, which obtained an official report about the incident. A CNN source backed up the story.

The pilot on the international hop repeatedly warned the party of 12 to stop smoking weed and to lay off the flight attendant, who wound up spending most of the flight up near the cockpit to avoid abuse, NBC said.

Upon landing in Teterboro, N.J. -- still full of smoke, according to the report -- the plane was searched by drug-sniffing dogs that sat down during their search, indicating drugs had been present. However, no unsmoked weed was found in subsequent searches by federal authorities.

Bieber, who was coming into town for Super Bowl parties, was separated from his posse and quizzed extensively by border officials, allegedly admitting he’d smoked weed and consumed alcohol but saying he had no more bud on him.

And so much for those parties -- it seems Bieber’s a bit “radioactive†these days, meaning few warm welcomes.

Here’s the thing too: Bieber, or at least his people, knew he would be stopped by customs officials, as he’s reportedly on a Homeland Security watch list due to pending criminal charges against him -- the alleged DUI in Florida and alleged assault of a limo driver in Toronto. But the gang appears to have smoked out on the plane nonetheless. That info comes via TMZ, which has a hilarious headline on its post.
