Justin Bieber jailhouse video: Judge his walk for yourself
See Justin Bieber walk to the left. See Justin Bieber walk to the right. See Justin Bieber doing all this walking while wearing a pair of hideous orange shoes we can only hope are jailhouse issue.
“Scared Straight†it ain’t — new video footage out Wednesday is more like a sneaky treat for people who really love or really hate the Biebs.
Miami Beach authorities released about 10 hours of surveillance video showing Bieber at a Miami-Dade County jail after being arrested Jan. 23 on suspicion of DUI, resisting arrest without force and driving without a valid license.
The clip doing the rounds, which can be viewed above, shows the normally sure-footed dancer wobbling a bit during what appears to be a walk-the-line sobriety test. Whether his performance is a complete fail may be up to the court to decide (a plea deal was reportedly rejected in recent days), but law-enforcement sources told TMZ that cops believe it’s their best evidence that the pop star was in no shape to drive that early morning.
Bieber, who’s 19 until Saturday, blew only a .014 on a blood alcohol breath test during his arrest, but admitted to smoking pot and taking Xanax. Lab tests backed that up, as did his bloodshot eyes, mumbling, flushed face and dilated pupils, according to an intoxication evaluation done by police.
Another clip from the surveillance footage, posted by TMZ, shows Bieber knocking off almost two dozen push-ups in less than 30 seconds. Guess it gets boring behind bars?
Meanwhile, in marginally more exciting video news, the Vevo video of Bieber’s breakout hit “Baby†passed 1 billion views this week, with the same clip on YouTube edging into that neighborhood as well.
There are about 7 billion people in the world. Scary.
