Jennifer Lawrence ‘brags’ about Jack Nicholson after Oscar run-in
Jennifer Lawrence’s looks bring up fond memories for one 76-year-old actor and fellow Oscar winner -- fond memories that warrant some lavish gift-giving. This generous gentleman’s name? Jack Nicholson.
Earlier this year, the “American Hustle†star appeared star-struck when “The Shining†actor dropped in on her backstage interview after she won the best actress Oscar for “Silver Linings Playbook.†“Good Morning America†co-host George Stephanopoulos and Lawrence shared a hearty laugh because of the peeping Nicholson, who congratulated the starlet on her praised performance in February.
That’s when she gave the best “Oh my God†face recently seen on national television.

Not only did she have the coveted Oscar to add to her shelf, she also had flowers and a bottle of Cristal champagne, compliments of Nicholson, because she happened to remind him of an old girlfriend.
“He sent me some flowers and a bottle of Cristal and a note that said, ‘Missing you already,’†Lawrence recently told ABC News’ Bianna Golodryga. “Not to brag.â€
The unfiltered actress immediately realized that she may have overshared ... yet again.
“I should have probably kept that a secret so it could just be between me and Jack,†she said, smiling.

Maybe looking like an old flame and jokingly calling a seasoned actor “rude†for popping in on an interview is all it takes for a little bubbly and a bouquet.
Thanks for the tip, Jenn.
So, consider the flowers and champagne a toast to her landmark year, which included the Oscar, stunning campaigns as a the face of fashion house Dior and a return to Panem in “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.â€
