Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel share a meal, churn dating rumor mill
Are Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel an item?
Not really. The two are just friends who can’t share a meal together without rousing suspicion that they’re romantically involved.
The “Bad Teacher†costars were spotted having a friendly meal in East Hampton, N.Y., on Tuesday night and, naturally, it led to dating rumors.

“They were at [upscale eatery] Nick and Toni’s and seemed to be on a date,†according to Life & Style magazine.
The actors were also seen shopping at the Citarella food market together too! Someone call the minister!
“They bought groceries and then drove off together,†according to the mag’s source, an eyewitness on Instagram.
While we’d love to go along with this potential couple of appropriately proportional heights, E! News reports that Diaz, 40, and Segel, 33, are just friends. She’s in New York filming “The Other Woman†with Kate Upton and Leslie Mann.

The were “not romantic at all towards each other, very casual and friendly,†a source told the site.
Segel reportedly broke up with actress Michelle Williams in February after almost a year of dating. But he has already been linked to Serbian Australian actress Bojana Novakovic, according to E! News.
However, the “Something About Mary†actress and the “How I Met Your Mother†star will be playing a married couple who try to track down a homemade porno of themselves in the upcoming comedy “Sex Tape.â€
“Sex Tape†also stars Jack Black and Rob Corddry and is due out next summer.
