When she broke off from Destiny’s Child, she was first featured on Jay-Z’s single “03 Bonnie & Clyde†about a runaway love affair. Later the two collaborated on her “Crazy in Love,†which gave rise to her alter-ego, Sasha Fierce.
“You know we were friends first for a year and a half before we went on any date on the phone for a year and a half,†she told Oprah Winfrey. “And that foundation is so important in a relationship. The singer is currently on tour in Europe, where she and hubby Jay-Z were spotted taking 15-month-old daughter Blue Ivy out to lunch in Paris. The tour kicks off its North American leg with a June 28 show at Los Angeles’ Staples Center.
