The music moguls haven’t offered a direct explanation of the name choice but Bey did share a limerick on her website that potentially clarified the choice. Beyonce appeared on “Good Morning America” on Monday to set the record straight about her trip to Cuba and open up about expanding her family.

Bey, who is in the middle of the European leg of her world tour, the Mrs. Carter Show, spoke with Amy Robach in London about her eyebrow-raising fifth anniversary trip to Cuba with husband Jay-Z in April. Lawmakers questioned the validity of the trip and sought clarification on why two of the U.S.’ biggest stars were visiting the communist island-nation, which is under an embargo for routine tourism.

“You know, it was such a beautiful trip,” the singer said. “I met some incredible children. I visited some incredible entrepreneurs. And it was really, it was really educational for me. I learned so much about so many people and the country, and it was actually quite shocking.”

The trip was approved by the U.S. Treasury Department, though Jay-Z claimed in a rap that the White House had approved it, a claim President Obama later refuted.

The 31-year-old also spoke candidly about her family plans, saying that she’d like to have more children.

“I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being big sister [to Solange],” she said.

As for when we can expect Blue Ivy’s little brother or sister? Bey said, “At some point when it’s supposed to happen.”

It’s pretty clear that the 1-year-old diva is her parents’ priority, and Bey wants to make sure that growing up in the spotlight won’t harm her.

“I am very protective,” Beyonce said. “I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life … in the back of my mind, she’s my priority. And life is completely different now. So I’m — I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love, and now have a way bigger meaning, and that’s to be her mother.”

Just like any mom, Bey is still working on earning “cool points” with her baby girl. She’ll be voicing Queen Tara in the animated film “Epic,” due out May 24, a job she accepted while she was pregnant in hopes that it would be something Blue would appreciate by the time it hit theaters.

“It has so much depth. You know, it’s so emotional,” Beyonce said. “And I literally, I was crying when I — when I did the voice-over. And it was the first thing I did after giving birth. And there’s a scene where I pick the pod. And literally there were … tears falling.”

And, the self-proclaimed “modern-day feminist” admits that the fame and lifestyle she has haven’t changed her.

“You know, at the end of the day you’re the same exact person. You know, I still like the simple things. Like, I have on my press-on nails right now,” she said with a laugh. “I have on my store-bought press-on nails. But my color, my paint is professionally done.”
