Amanda Bynes reveals ‘eating disorder,’ threatens gossips again
Amanda Bynes went on quite the Twitter rant late Thursday, claiming she has an eating disorder and once again threatening to sue “certain blogs and magazines†for saying she has “a mental illness.â€
“They take pictures anytime I’ve gained weight then write a fake story!,†Bynes complained, adding, “I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin.â€
And to think, most stories lately have mentioned anything but her weight, choosing instead to focus on tidbits like the once-blond 27-year-old’s insistence (in tweets since deleted) that she had a redheaded imposter wandering around New York pretending to be her, wearing her same glasses and cheek piercings, with blond showing through the red dye job.
The “retired†actress also threatened to take pictures from writers’ Twitter feeds and post them every time a story is written about her.
“I’m putting a photo up of everyone writing articles about me from now on,†she wrote. “I ask you to choose photos from my twitter so I’ll do the same.â€
(Alas, if she starts choosing shots from this writer’s Twitter stream, she’s going to get pics like this one. Definitely not a redhead, though possibly an imposter.)
How she’s going to track down those articles remains a bit of a mystery, as she claims she doesn’t look at ‘em.
“I don’t read articles written about me unless I give an interview for a magazine. They’re fake! Don’t trust what u read on sites!â€
So we’d wish you happy birthday, Amanda — it was Wednesday — but now we know you won’t read it.
Also this week, Bynes was granted another continuation in her Burbank trial on misdemeanor charges of driving with a suspended license. She didn’t show for a pre-trial hearing Tuesday, but has another chance to show in court on the new pre-trial date, May 2.
