Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria, are having a baby!

The “30 Rock� star, 54, married his yoga-instructor sweetheart June 30 in New York and they are now expecting a new bundle of joy.

The news was announced on “Extra,� on which the 28-year-old serves as a special correspondent.

“We’re having a baby,� she said sitting next to Baldwin. “It was a surprise, a wonderful surprise.� Watch the announcement below.

“There’s a scream I heard, which is a scream normally reserved if there’s a spider in the house, not exaggerating,� Baldwin said when his wife first heard the news. “Normally, I will be reading a book. We’re in the country, it’s quiet, some time to really relax and unwind, and sometimes, once a month, you hear ‘Ahhh, Alec, Alec!’ I come upstairs, and there’s a spider on the wall. So then I hear that scream again, but it was not a spider.�

“It was followed by ‘I’m pregnant, I’m pregnant!’� she said. “He runs up the stairs and I’m holding it [the test] and showing it to him.�

“It really is the most amazing thing. I’m lucky,� Baldwin added.

The baby is due in the summer and will be her first child and Baldwin’s second. The actor has a 17-year-old daughter named Ireland from his previous marriage to Oscar-winning actress Kim Basinger.

Baldwin recently picked up a Screen Actors Guild award for his role as Jack Donaghy on the just-wrapped NBC comedy. Earlier this month, his “30 Rock� costar Tracy Morgan announced that he would be having his fourth child.
