This year marks the first time that Fox will present a live broadcast of the Super Bowl in Europe with its U.S. feed, featuring play-by-play announcer Joe Buck and former NFL quarterback and sports analyst Troy Aikman. Bruno Mars is the headliner for the halftime show, which also includes the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The NFL championship game, which is scheduled for Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., is expected to be a hard-fought contest.

The AFC Champion Broncos, led by quarterback Peyton Manning, have the No. 1 offense in the NFL, while the NFC Champion Seahawks boast the league’s No. 1 defense.

Manning has touched off a media sensation by frequently barking the word “Omaha†from the line of scrimmage to signal an audible call.

About 12 million households in Europe have access to the Fox-branded channels, the company said in a statement. However, the game’s kickoff time is set for shortly after midnight in Europe, which means the action will unfold during the wee hours of that Monday morning.
