Hot Property: A trio of deals for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are putting their house in order.
First, television personality Kardashian offloaded her place in the Beverly Crest area after just two years of ownership. Public records do not show a sale price. She bought the furnished estate in 2010 for about $3.5 million.
The turn-key home was designed, built and decorated by Beverly Hills-based Lucien Lacasse. The Tuscan-style walled and gated house features fireplaces in the dining room, family room, living room, master bedroom and kitchen as well as outdoors. The two-story home includes a screening room, five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in about 4,000 square feet.
Outdoors, there are living and dining rooms, a kitchen, a pool, a spa and a waterfall. The lot of more than half an acre has mature landscaping and mountain views.
Then, escrow closed on an estate in a gated Bel-Air community she bought for $9 million. The asking price on the two-story Mediterranean was $10.75 million.
Set on three-quarters of an acre, the Tuscan-inspired residence (she apparently knows what style she likes) features a two-story entry with black walnut parquet floors, four fireplaces, beamed and cathedral ceilings, a bar, a wine cellar, an elevator, five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Outdoor amenities include an 800-square-foot pavilion and a swimming pool.
Now, rapper West has put his home in Hollywood Hills West back on the market at $3.3 million.
The modern-style house features unobstructed city and coastline views, a formal entry, a bar, a breakfast room, a den, a home theater, three bedrooms, four bathrooms and 4,214 square feet of living space.
Public records show he bought the property in 2003 for $1.75 million.
West previously listed it in 2010 at $3.995 million. Among features when it was for sale then were a fish tank beside the tub in the master bathroom and a ceiling mural in the dining room.
Kardashian, 29, star of the reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians†(2007-present) and “Kim & Kourtney Take Miami†(2009-present), is in the midst of a divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries.
West, 35, is one of the bestselling digital artists of all time in the U.S. His most recent album, “Cruel Summer†(2012), was made by his own record label, G.O.O.D Music.
He and Kardashian are expecting a child.
Arline Bolin of Nelson Shelton & Associates was the listing agent for the Bel-Air house. Joshua Altman and Matthew Altman of Hilton & Hyland represented Kardashian.
Jessica Pasternak of Coldwell Banker’s Beverly Hills North office is West’s listing agent.
Funny man, serious seller
Comedic actor and film star Sacha Baron Cohen and his wife, actress Isla Fisher, are in escrow on a house they have listed in Hollywood Hills West at $2.595 million.
The Midcentury-style home, built in 1959 and later renovated, had been leased out at $10,995 a month. The couple own another house nearby that they bought a few years back for $14 million.
The single-story house for sale features canyon and mountain views, beamed ceilings that rise to 22 feet, a river rock fireplace, a media room/den, four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and 2,806 square feet of living space. The lot, less than a third of an acre, includes a lagoon-style swimming pool, a spa and an outdoor gym.
Baron Cohen, 41, is known for his portrayal of offbeat characters in “Da Ali G Show†(2000, 2003-04), “Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan†(2006), “Bruno†(2009) and “The Dictator†(2012). He will star in an upcoming film about rock star Freddie Mercury of Queen.
Jonah Wilson of Hilton & Hyland is the listing agent.
Hope’s Lautner asking $50 million
The massive home designed by renowned modern architect John Lautner for comedian Bob Hope and his wife, Dolores, is for sale in Palm Springs for $50 million.
Sited to overlook the Coachella Valley, the concrete, steel and glass house was built in 1979 and has about 22,000 square feet of living space. The curving copper roof plays off the shape of the nearby mountains. There are six bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, according to public records.
Murals on the first floor and the pool area are by Garth Benton, who did the murals at the Getty Villa in Malibu. In addition to the swimming pool, outdoor amenities include a pond, a tennis court and a fireplace.
Hope, who died in 2003 at 100, appeared in scores of films including the “Road†series with Bing Crosby. Dolores Hope died in 2011 at 102.
Ann Eysenring of Partners Trust in Beverly Hills and Patrick Jordan and Stewart Smith of Windermere Real Estate in Palm Springs are the listing agents for the landmark property.

The two-story home, built in 1959, features teak siding, a stone front gate, a courtyard planted with olive trees and lavender, open plan interiors, five bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2,752 square feet of living space.
