After being traded by the Padres to the Braves last season, Matt Kemp is ready to make a trade of his own. The professional ballplayer has listed his mansion estate in Poway’s Heritage community for sale at $11.5 million.

Kemp bought the property three years ago for $9.075 million and has spent another $3 million in renovations, according to Kofi Nartey of Compass, who shares the listing with Morgan Trent of Paramount Properties.

Features of the 15,884-square-foot home include custom travertine floors, a cigar lounge with a humidor and a 1,200-bottle wine cellar with a separate tasting room. The custom home theater has tiered seating and a snack bar.

Two walk-in closets, two showers and a secondary laundry room are highlights of the master suite. There are five bedrooms, five bathrooms and two powder rooms in all.

Outdoors, manicured grounds include an infinity-edge swimming pool, a tennis court and an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven. A separate pool house is currently used as a gym and Roman spa.

The 32-year-old Kemp began his career with the Dodgers and spent his first nine seasons with the team, making two all-star teams. The outfielder hit .268 with 35 home runs and 108 RBIs in 156 games for the Padres and Braves last season.

Named the Feldman house for its first owner, the midcentury home dates to 1953 and is among the last major works of architect Gregory Ain.

The seven-bedroom, 8.5-bathroom house, extensively renovated and expanded to 11,300 square feet of living space, features an open floor plan with hardwood floors and a range of contemporary materials. Wood-paneled walls of glass bring in views of the home’s natural setting.

The master suite has a sanctuary-like vibe, thanks to a floating two-way fireplace and an inner courtyard. Also of note are the large soaking tub and waterfall feature in the master bath.

A long patio runs the length of the home and surrounds an infinity-edge swimming pool and spa. Accent lighting illuminates the three-quarter-acre setting.

Jana Bezdek of Teles Properties was the listing agent. Joshua and Matthew Altman of Douglas Elliman represented the buyer.

Producer aims to pare down

Television producer David Broome of “The Biggest Loser†fame is ready to shed some square footage in Calabasas, listing his home in a gated community for sale at $9.499 million.

The European-inspired house, once famously known as Britney Spears’ rental, is reached by a tree-lined drive that ends at a circular motor court.

Inside, nearly 10,600 square feet of living space features hardwood floors, vast open spaces and vaulted and beamed ceilings. The master suite has a boutique-inspired dressing room, a dry sauna and a steam shower. There are six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

Other living areas include a great room and a formal dining room that are divided by a two-way stone fireplace. A two-story library tower holds an office, and a climate-controlled wine cellar also has a humidor.

An elevator detailed in mosaic stone and custom millwork services each level, as do a pair of sweeping staircases.

An inner courtyard, rose gardens, a pool house and a glass-bottomed mosaic swimming pool are among features found outdoors. The garage has been outfitted with an auto lift for subterranean storage.

Isadora and Tomer Fridman, Dana Olmes and Jeff Biebuyck of Ewing & Associates Sotheby’s International Realty are the co-listing agents with Bjorn Farrugia and Alphonso Lascano of Hilton & Hyland, an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate.

Broome has served as an executive producer on the weight-loss competition series since it premiered on NBC in 2004. His other credits include “Shedding for the Wedding†and “Ultimate Beastmaster.â€

Australian entrepreneur and film producer Andrew Banks, who appears on the television series “Shark Tank Australia,†has cut a deal in Beverly Hills, selling his 10,522-square-foot home for $15.955 million.

That’s a nice return on investment for Banks, who paid $9.18 million for the half-acre property four years ago.

The home, which draws from European influences, was built in 1997 and extensively renovated during Banks’ ownership. Among details of note is a blue-hued living room, an elevator and a music room with a wet bar. Two curving staircases flank the vaulted foyer, which is topped by a modern chandelier.

There are seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms including a master with a sauna.

A swimming pool, a pool house and a guesthouse fill the hedged grounds.

James Harris, David Parnes and Marisa San Antonio, all with the Agency, were the listing agents. Marc Noah of Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer.

Banks has been a panelist on “Shark Tank Australia†since last year. He previously co-founded the recruitment company Morgan & Banks and the human resources company Talent2 International.

He’s opting out of Bay Area digs

A sale is pending for the San Jose home of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Kaepernick, who can opt out of his contract at the end of the season, reportedly called it an “investment decision†when the two-story hit the market in late November for $2.895 million. He bought the house two years ago for $2.7 million, records show.

Extensively remodeled during the quarterback’s ownership, the four-bedroom, five-bedroom house opens through custom wood doors to a foyer with a wall aquarium. Modern fixtures, subdued hues and wood-paneling lend a contemporary vibe to nearly 4,600 square feet of interior space.

On the second floor, an alcove looks down on the foyer through a glass-bottom floor. There’s also a paneled lounge with a leather-wrapped bar.

A covered pavilion and a swimming pool with a waterfall feature highlight the more than half-acre grounds.

Mike Strouf of Intero Real Estate Services holds the listing.

Kaepernick, 29, began the year behind Blaine Gabbert at quarterback but regained the starting job in Week 6. The University of Nevada alum led the 49ers to a Super Bowl in 2013.
