Pauly Shore seeks a tenant for aerie in Hollywood Hills
Stand-up comic and actor Pauly Shore has put a house in Hollywood Hills West up for lease at $27,500 a month.
The newly remodeled contemporary, built in 1959, sits behind gates on more than half an acre. Nearly 360-degree views take in downtown Los Angeles, the ocean, the Hollywood sign and the San Gabriel Mountains.
Glass walls in the living and dining rooms fold away to connect to wrap-around patios, expansive terrace space and an infinity pool with a spa. There’s a newly outfitted kitchen, a family/media room, four bedrooms and three bathrooms. A private deck sits off the master suite.
In addition to the two-car garage, space on site allows for an additional five or more cars to park.
Shore, 47, starred in “Encino Man†(1992), “In the Army Now†(1994) and “The Bogus Witch Hunt†(2000), among other films. This year he will guest star in an episode of the television series “Hawaii Five-O.â€
He bought the property in 1996 for $1.15 million, public records show, and has put it up for lease in recent years.
Marcie Hartley of Hilton & Hyland, an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, is the listing agent.
