A recently sold Westside home has added another celebrity name to its pedigree.

Director-screenwriter James Wan of “Saw†and “The Conjuring†fame has paid $18.5 million for a 1930s Mediterranean-style home in Bel-Air. Adam Bernhard, the founder and chief executive of the online marketplace HauteLook, was the seller.

Earlier owners of the property include Oscar-winning actress Diane Keaton, film director Stan Dragoti and actress Meg Ryan; Bernhard bought the house from Ryan in 2012 for $11.25 million.

Set behind gates on a three-quarter-acre knoll, the estate retains its original vibe. Interior arches, delicate wood ceilings and wrought-iron railings are among details of the 9,000-square-foot home. A screening room/theater, an office and a gym are among the amenities.

There are fireplaces in the living and dining rooms and the master bedroom. Six bedrooms and seven bathrooms include a separate guest house.

Outdoors, there’s a loggia, a large lawn and a swimming pool surrounded by a flagstone patio. Views take in the cityscape and the ocean.

The house came to market last year for $24.99 million and was more recently listed for $19.995 million, records show.

Kurt Rappaport and Richard Ehrlich of Westside Estate Agency were the listing agents. Andrea Harris-Shink of Teles Properties represented the buyer.

Wan, 39, has film credits that include the original “Saw†film (2004), “Insidious†(2011) and “Furious 7†(2015). He is directing the upcoming DC superhero movie “Aquaman,†due out in 2017.
