Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s Westside home publicly lists for $35 million
Though it has been shopped as a whisper listing since October, it was only this week that the marital home of musicians Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale officially hit the Multiple Listing Service with a price tag of $35 million.
Set within a guard-gated enclave north of Beverly Hills, the renovated contemporary is awash in eye-catching details. The chef’s kitchen has black-and-white striped cabinetry, and the formal dining room features an artful accent wall. There are three fireplaces, each set within a wall of ribboned stone.
The 11,845 square feet of interiors include a theater room, a gym and two offices. Including the guesthouse, there are seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
A covered lounge extends the living space outdoors and includes a patio with a wet bar and another fireplace. An infinity-edge swimming pool, a lighted tennis court, a playground and a chicken coop also lie within two acres of grounds.
The property, which also counts singer-actress Jennifer Lopez as a former owner, last changed hands in 2006 for $13.25 million, property records show. Although it carries a 90210 ZIP Code, the L.A. Times Mapping Database identifies the area as part of Studio City.
Stephen Shapiro of Westside Estate Agency and Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker are the listing agents.
Stefani, 47, gained fame as a co-founder and lead vocalist for the band No Doubt. She has won three Grammys, including two for the songs “â€Hey Baby†and “Underneath It All.†She will be a coach on the upcoming season of the NBC competition series “The Voice.â€
The 51-year-old Rossdale is the frontman and guitarist for the rock band Bush. The group has released six studio albums, most recently “Man on the Run†in 2014.
Their divorce was finalized last year.
